My Acne Treatment

/ Tuesday, February 15, 2011 /
I hate acne. Absolutely HATE acne. But yet I still get it. Such is the woe of a silly girl just out of her teens. Ehhh...

Anyways lately I think I've had some moderate success in my treatment. Emphasis on modest, because there's a side effect that I'm not sure why but it exists. So here it goes...

In the morning, I use:
1. Dermalogica clearing wash
Dermalogica MediBac Clearing Skin Wash 8.4oz

I wash my face 2X with this.

2. Spot treatments - either 2.5% benzyl peroxide or 2% salicylic acid

3. Jergen's sensitive skin lotion

Then, at night, I use:
1. Dermalogica skin clearing wash (again)
2. Noxema scrub, 0.5% salicylic acid (1X/week)
Noxzema Clean Blemish Control Daily Scrub - 5 Oz.

3. St. Ives Scrub for Blackheads (1X/week), 2% salicylic acid

4. Neutrogena Triple Action Toner (only if necessary):

5. The spot treatment(s) (if necessary)
6. Jergen's lotion

Wow, I just realized this. This is quite a lot of stuff. It cost a lot of money to do this stuff. But I guess it's worth it for sure.

Lately, I've been getting a rash on the right side of my face. I've covered it with cortisone but I really don't know why it's happening. Hopefully it'll get better soon!!!
