Christmas Wish List 2014 (Dream on...)
I'll probably not be able to receive any of these. I don't expect any of them. I also am too broke to buy anything here. It's okay. It's a distant dream, perhaps for the future =D
Note to all reading this: Please DO NOT buy these for me! Feel free to buy for yourself, but they are waaayyy too expensive and although they are good products, they are way out of my price range and also are luxuries, not needs, for me.

The time I will be able to truly buy Christian Louboutins is when I actually become a real doctor. But until then, I wanted to try a makeshift way to create a somewhat semblance of them...
Tools:
Acetone (100%)
Rubbing alcohol (70%)
Cotton rounds
1 pair of black shoes (or whatever high-heels you prefer)
Q-tips to clean up excess nail polish
Nail polishes:
Base coat and top coat: Revlon Multi Care Base+Top Coat
Base color: 1:1 mixture of ELF Essential Nail Polish in Fire Coral and Maybelline Express Finish #800 in Sultry Siren.
The setup
Step 1: Clean the shoes with rubbing alcohol and cotton rounds.
Step 2: Apply a layer of topcoat.
Step 3: Apply 2 layers of the 1:1 mixture.
Step 4: Apply 1 layer of top coat.
Step 5: Allow to dry for at least 3 hours (for good measure), preferably overnight.
Voila!

Low, comfortable heels (flats are painful!)

It depends on the day. On days with lab and in the hospital, sneakers. On nicer days, loafers.

Wanted? Probably by sneakers. They're the most useful.

Wearing my flip-flops into a lab and actually performing experiments with them - highly highly dangerous!

This past Black Friday, I was wearing a pair of Journeys loafers. Unfortunately the pair was old and the heels broke into pieces while I was walking around. I ended up tearing off the other pieces of the shoes' heels and had to walk in these newly formed makeshift "slippers" instead XD
9. How many pairs of shoes do you own?
Oh, perhaps 30-40.
10. When was the first time you wore heels?
I think in the 5th grade for an orchestra concert.
11. How much do you spend on shoes?
Hmmm... default price goes around a $40. More for boots. DEFINITELY less for flip-flops.
12. Where are your favorite places to buy shoes?
Famous Footwear, Dillard's, Macy's
13. Do you have a pair of shoes you regret purchasing?
Yes. This pair of platform wedges - they were really cute but the angle was just too weird for my foot to walk in them!
