In a hospital.

Yup! I was named after the smartest girl in a Chinese-English class.

At the time I answered this question... today.

Nope!

5) If you were another person, would you be friends with you?
Hmm... I would hope so. I tend to be a very loyal and supportive person (at least I think). Then again, 
I can also be pretty huggy-clingy.

6) Do you have any pets?
Not currently. During college I had a couple of salamanders.

7) Do you use sarcasm?
Yes. Especially if I am tired.

8) Would you bungie jump?
Of course! Why not be adventurous?

9) What is your favorite cereal?
I don't really have one. I don't eat cereal... oatmeal maybe? 

10) What is your eye color?
Brown

11) Scary movies or happy endings?
Of course happy endings!

12) Do you have any brothers or sisters?
Mmm-hmm! Guess...

13) Computer or TV?
Computer hands down.

14) What is the first thing you notice about a person?
A lot of things can be gathered about a person within the first few seconds one meets another. The human eyes naturally go toward the face. If the person is far away, perhaps the silhouette of the body.

15) Favorite smell?
Fruits and flirty flowers.

16) Furthest you've been away from home?
Hmm... define home. If China, then probably most of my life. If the US (TX), then perhaps when I visit China.

17) Do you have any special talents?
I can do the splits =D

18) Do you have any hobbies?
Making 3D DIY projects, drawing, writing, blogging, dancing

And a relatively old vid made by a long-time friend of mine, Oblivious Alsk, about gamers using a program called "Fold-It" to discover the structure of a protein. I actually used the program during my biochemistry class in second year of university! Thus, transitively, I actually helped discover the structure of this protein! (At least sort of, I guess) So cool, huh? Yup!

Those are your 10 vids! Today is definitely a special day because this year, 2012, we actually have a leap year. Hehe, one of my friends was actually born on the 29th. When I asked him in high school how he celebrated his birthday, he said he just had a party every 4 years. According to the Gregorian calendar, he's only 5 years old. However, in my book, he's 20 =D

Sorry, it's been a long while since I did a fave songs post. I've just been really really busy with school, and finals, and everything, so finally I've been able to update more frequently after everything else has occurred.

Recently there was a video of a 9-year old Chinese girl doing the Melbourne Shuffle in various parts of Beijing posted on Youtube:



I absolutely adore her! She's cute and she's really good at it. I really want to learn from her and also be able to shuffle like that as well someday in the future. I learned some popping this past semester and also worked on hip-hop and Bollywood dance forms. I've improved quite a bit from last year (meaning last year I basically did nothing, knew nothing about dance) but I want to improve more.

This girl is reminiscent of Moon Boy from a few years back (I think it was 2008?):

One of my friends gave me this video. This is absolutely so beautiful - I cried when I watched the music video. Not only just cried; I bawled my eyes out. This music video is about a guy, Michael Wong, whose girlfriend helped him compose the song he's playing at a concert. However, his girlfriend has some kind of sickness (e.g. blood cancer) and collapses at his dress rehearsal. So he puts a cell phone to her face, allowing her to listen to his concert while he plays over the phone. While he plays at the concert, he projects his emotions over to her, thinking of all the good times he had with her. As he finishes his song, his girlfriend smiles, cries at all of the good memories that they had together, and dies. In the afterlife, his girlfriend is healthy again, listening to him while he plays at the concert.

The ending quote the girl says is that "in this world, when no one pays attention to me, only you cannot pay attention to me."
